The RelaxIV is a four-motor powered clinical chair for adult patients undergoing intravenous infusion therapy. It provides powered lift, backrest recline and adjustable positioning for use by qualified clinical staff in professional healthcare facilities.
Four electric motors drive the lift, reclining and positioning functions. The backrest reclines from 90° to 145° from vertical and the lift mechanism travels approximately 120 mm vertically, so staff can bring the patient into a comfortable infusion position and assist with standing at the end of a session.
An integrated infusion pole rises approximately 1,750 mm from the floor and carries up to 2 kg. The chair supports patients up to 150 kg (330 lb), runs from a 100–240 V AC supply through an internal 29 V DC actuator PSU, and is rated IPX0 for indoor clinical use only. Expected service life is 7 years under normal use conditions.
The RelaxIV is intended for use by qualified clinical staff with adult patients, on a flat, stable indoor surface. It is not for patient self-use or home use, and must not be used outdoors, in wet areas or MRI rooms, or in oxygen-enriched or flammable atmospheres. Class I active, non-sterile medical device without a measuring function (Rule 12), available in models IVR-100 to IVR-104.
